Join us this summer for seven weeks of soccer, fun, skill development, teamwork, and community spirit! The South River Kids Soccer Program is designed to help children develop soccer skills, stay active, make friends, and enjoy being part of a team in a positive and supportive environment.

Junior Division (Ages 4–6)

Intermediate Division (Ages 7–9)

Meet the Soccer Coach & Coordinator
The South River Kids Soccer Program will be led by Tanvir Kabir, Recreation Director for the Village of South River.
Tanvir is passionate about helping young athletes build confidence, develop teamwork and sportsmanship, and foster a lifelong love of physical activity and soccer. Throughout the season, he will lead participants through fun activities, skill-building exercises, small-sided games, and team challenges designed for all skill levels.
As a former member of his high school's soccer team, Tanvir understands the value of teamwork, dedication, and enjoying the game. He is excited to share his enthusiasm for soccer with local youth and help create a positive and enjoyable experience for every participant.
Whether your child is playing soccer for the first time or already has experience on the field, this program provides a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment where everyone can learn, play, and have fun.
Volunteers Welcome!
Community involvement is an important part of making this program successful. We welcome parents, guardians, high school students, and community members who are interested in helping during practices, game activities, and special events throughout the season.

👕 Program T-Shirt Included
Every registered participant will receive a South River Soccer Program T-Shirt as part of their registration.
Players are encouraged to wear their program shirt throughout the season and during the final Fire Department Match & Pizza Night on August 6, 2026.
The program T-shirt helps build team spirit and creates a memorable keepsake from the 2026 soccer season.
Registration Information
There are two ways to register:
OPTION 1 – IN-PERSON REGISTRATION
📅 Thursday, June 4, 2026
🕕 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 South River–Machar Arena
💵 Registration Fee: $30
⚠️ CASH ONLY
Village staff will be available to assist with registrations and answer any questions regarding the program.
OPTION 2 – ONLINE REGISTRATION
Registration is available through the Village of South River Customer Portal.
Registration Deadline
📅 June 5, 2026
⚠️ Registration is only open for two weeks.
⚠️ No late registrations will be accepted.
OPTION 3 – REGISTER AT THE MUNICIPAL OFFICE
📍 Village of South River Municipal Office
📅 Available until Friday 2:30 PM, June 5, 2026
Parents/guardians may visit the Municipal Office during regular office hours to complete a registration form and submit payment before the registration deadline.
Returning Users
If you have previously registered for:
• Summer Camp
• eBilling
• Recreation Programs
Please use your existing Customer Portal account.
If you have forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" option on the portal login page.
South River Residents
If you do not already have an online account, you must create one before registering.
Your registration key can be found on the back of your municipal water bill.
Once you have your registration key:
- Visit the Customer Portal.
- Create your account.
- Log in.
- Add your child as a sub-account.
- Register for Soccer 2026.
Non-Residents
If you do not have a registration key, please contact the Village Office:

Important – Add Your Child Before Registering
After creating your account:
- Click My Account
- Select Manage Sub-Accounts
- Add your child's information
- Save your changes
Your child must be added to your account before registration can be completed.
